Title:

KBR is seeking an Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team in Kihei, HI 

Responsibilities:

Design, operate, and maintain custom and COTS electrical systems for sensors, telescopes, lasers, adaptive optics and ancillary observatory equipment.

Prepare and maintain electrical systems specifications and CAD drawings.

Design and build custom telescope and imaging systems, including adaptive optics, lasers, mount control, system controls and atmospheric compensation capabilities.

Oversee installation and testing of electrical equipment to confirm compliance with customer requirements.

Identify and resolve problems with existing systems.

Evaluate customer requirements for performance, reliability and capability and assist in the development of novel solutions.

Monitor customer needs and determine requirements and possible solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience with Controls Engineering 

5-8 years' experience

Clearance:

Secret required
