As a Mid-level Electronic Technician, you will:

A week in the life of a Mid. level Electronics Technician:
Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, engineer and modify video surveillance concealment systems and equipment. Provide support with systems such as computer equipment, test equipment, and electronic control systems, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, electronic, and electrical testing, and physics. Discuss layout and assembly procedures and problems with Electronics Engineers (EEs) and provides documentation to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units. Assemble complete prototype models according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components. Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Setup standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life cycle tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production models. Analyzes and interprets test data. Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and components, and records effects on unit performance. Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate systems' operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations for consideration by engineers in broader determinations affecting system design and laboratory procedures.
