Mid-level Guidewire Developer
A Property & Casualty insurance provider is looking for a Mid-Level Guidewire Developer to join their team in Hartford CT. Candidates that are able to come on-site in a hybrid model to Hartford, CT, Princeton, NJ, or Vallet Forge, PA will be preferred. This position is open because the company is doing a new implementation of Guidewire in the cloud. They will be starting with the Guidewire Policy Center and Billing Center first, before moving on to implement Guidewire Claim Center as well. The company is currently at the beginning stages of this large scale project, and are beginning a Proof of Concept to set the groundwork for the implementation starting with their Admitted Cyber project which is currently being housed in Majesco and needs to be moved. The company is currently running on version 8 of Guidewire, and this will be a re-platforming effort for a new implement of Guidewire in the cloud. This Guidewire Developer will be involved in all facets of the software development lifecycle including but not limited to analyzing requirements, design, testing, documentation, development, architecture review, and collaborating with the technical teams involved. This resource will be responsible for development and maintenance within Guidewire Studio primarily in Java and utilizing SQL Server and Apache Tomcat. This person will also be hands developing API's for integrations. This person must be a self-starter with exemplary communication skills and be a team player.
