We are looking for a mid level Java developer to join a Capital Markets organization. This is a team of 12 and this team is in the process of rewriting a .NET application to Java. This is an in-house CRM application and we are looking for a candidate who has not only a background in Java development but also experience with database development in SQL, PL/SQL or T-SQL. This candidate should have exposure to agile environments, as this team is responsible for releasing software updates and new code every two weeks. The application re-write will take approx. one more year and then the team will be responsible for maintenance and upgrades of the application. This team is also working with jersey restful web services and the candidate will learn this technology. This is a very fast paced environment and the candidate should be open to an agile environment.
