The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. SPA has an immediate need for a Mid-Level Orbital Mechanics Instructor.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of a dynamic team of Space Operations experts to support all training activiites including:
Support the Lead Instructor as directed.Deliver industry/academica-developed or other government-developed training to educate the workforce on orbital mechanics in ways easily understood by the workforce. Provide feedback to the Instructional System Designers on training materials effectiveness and relevancy to the workforce. Create, deliver, and maintain a performance measurement system focused on training effectiveness. Present statistics on training effectiveness to senior government leadership as required.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with CI PolygraphBachelor's degree in a STEM field with 10 years of experience; or Master's degree in a STEM field with 8 years of experienceSpace Operations experience either in a NOPS, SOPS, and/or C2 centerInstructor certification with experience teaching technical topics
Desired Qualifications:
