Title: Mid-Level Physicist - Secret KBR is seeking a Mid-Level Physicist to join our team in Kihei, HI. Responsibilities: + Develops technology and solve problems in areas such as image reconstruction, adaptive optics, lasers, imaging through turbulence. + Plans and conducts scientific experiments and studies to test system performance. + Performs mathematical calculations to analyze sensor data. + Develops computer software to analyze and model data. + Supports experiments and testing of novel Space Domain Awareness capabilities. Required Qualifications: + B.S. in STEM or related field + Minimum of 8 years' experience in imaging system design, operation, maintenance and control of adaptive optics and wavefront sensing systems, + Demonstrated experience in design, assembly, troubleshooting and maintenance of optical and laser systems + Broad background in physical sciences + Familiarity with the USAF and US Space Force space control/space domain awareness mission area + Master’s degree in electrical optics or related field Preferred Qualifications: + PhD in electrical optics or related field Clearance Requirements: Secret KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
