Description of Duties\:
The Mid-Level IT Project Manager supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will\:
· Have Project Management experience in an environment and managing multiple projects concurrently.
· Have experience using Microsoft Project and know how to create, manage and update their detailed level schedule.
· Be comfortable interacting with various levels of internal and external customers.
· Have experience creating and supporting Project status and financial data in internal and external customer meetings.
· Have experience creating and managing SOWs with a variety of contract types and deliverable strategies.
· Be responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects specifically meeting cost and schedule targets.
· Apply Earned Value Management principles in the execution of their projects.
· Develop recovery plans for projects that are not achieving delivery date expectations. Candidate should have experience, pricing, and estimating proposed costs and costs to complete.
· Exhibit a cognitive ownership of their project deliverables and partner with matrixed resources to deliver results according to customer expectations.
· Must demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal teaming soft skills.

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience\: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience
· Must have 5 years of directly related experience.
· Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
· Successfully drive projects to completion while integrating matrixed resources.
Desired Requirements\:
· PMP Certified
· Understand Agile Methodologies
· ITIL Certified
· Earned Value Management and Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
· Experience managing high dollar-value projects ranging in complexity
· Experience managing geographically separated project teams
· Experience managing projects in traditional waterfall and/or agile methodologies
· Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Domain knowledge
This position is expected to pay $86,500 - $111,500 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
