We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more. **Requirements:** + Shall have a Ph.D. in either Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nanotechnology, Chemical or Biochemical engineering, Biotechnology with 1+ years of post- doctoral experience. + Shall be capable of handling multiple projects while meeting all research goals and deadlines, and with little supervisory oversight. + Shall demonstrate ability to communicate scientific findings via technical reports, poster and oral presentations and peer reviewed publications. + Shall have exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to network and build consensus within a multi-disciplinary organization. + Basic office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sigma plot, Access, or FileMaker Pro databases etc.) are required, and basic statistical data analysis skills are highly desired. + Shall have experience with data processing software such as Python, MATLAB, Java, Data Base, and LabVIEW. **Responsibilities:** + Conduct experimental design, data collection, data analysis, data presentation and write supporting scientific reports. + Utilize extensive knowledge to perform work with pharmaceutical dosage form design, manufacturing, and product quality characterization. + Utilize extensive knowledge to perform work on impact of formulation, manufacturing process parameters, storage, and end-user handling on particulate formation in complex parenteral drug products such as long acting injectables, biologics and oligonucleotides. + Utilize extensive knowledge to perform work in identification and physicochemical characterization of particulates in biologic and oligonucleotide drug products. + Utilize extensive knowledge to perform work in the delivery of small molecules and proteins using DNA carriers, liposomes or suitable nanocarriers. + Shall have hands on expertise in dynamic light scattering, back-ground membrane imaging particle analysis, microflow imaging analysis, Microfluidic Resistive Pulse Sensor (MRPS), Morphologi 4ID, circular dichroism, FTIR and Size exclusion High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (SEC-HPLC) analysis. + Be able to utilize expert knowledge to conduct analysis using the following techniques: + Electrophoresis + Flow Cytometer + Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) + Scanning electron microscopy - energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), + Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) + Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) + Report work progress to supervisor/management as frequently as required by supervisor. **Working Environment & Conditions** This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
