We are seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our team and perform structural engineering work for our projects, focused on the design of critical water and wastewater infrastructure for our communities.

Responsibilities Perform detailed structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities by working with other project team members to understand and integrate their requirements into the structural design, coordinating design details between various project design disciplinesPrepare reportsDevelop plans and specificationsPrepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projectsPreparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesProvide engineering services during construction Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural EmphasisMinimum of 3 years of experience in the design of structuresStructural engineering design and detailing skillsEngineer-in-Training (EIT) CertificationDemonstrated ability in design of concrete and steel structures and foundationsKnowledge of Structural design codes and standardsExperienced at preparing construction drawingsHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingProficient in MS Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications Registration as a Professional or Structural EngineerPreferred education includes a Master’s Degree in Structural EngineeringExperience in the design of water treatment structuresExperience with Microstation or AutocadExperience with ASCE 41 seismic evaluations Pay Range
$103,000 to $155,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
