Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our team and perform structural engineering work for our projects, focused on the design of critical water and wastewater infrastructure for our communities.

Responsibilities Perform detailed structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities by working with other project team members to understand and integrate their requirements into the structural design, coordinating design details between various project design disciplinesPrepare reportsDevelop plans and specificationsPrepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projectsPreparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesProvide engineering services during construction Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis6-12 years of experience in the design of structuresRegistration as a Professional or Structural Engineer License Structural engineering design and detailing skillsDemonstrated ability in design of concrete and steel structures and foundationsKnowledge of Structural design codes and standardsExperienced at preparing construction drawingsHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingProficient in MS Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Structural EngineeringExperience in the design of water treatment structuresExperience with Microstation or AutocadExperience with ASCE 41 seismic evaluations Other Compensation and Benefits
