Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking an Electrical Analysis Engineer for our Kennesaw, GA (HQ) location or potentially other locations depending on the level of experience.

Responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and innovative team to evaluate power systems using numerous types of electrical analyses. Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, using independent judgment in performing calculations and designsPerform assignments, which have clear and specific technical objectives and have some degree of complexityUnderstand roles played by other disciplines on the project and be able to coordinate and interface with other disciplines including mechanical and civil/structural engineersParticipate in reviewing and checking calculations, studies/evaluations, designs, drawings and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractorsPrepare design studies, project scopes and engineering estimatesManage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversightDevise new approaches to technical problems.  Broad knowledge of precedents and operating experience in the industryTravel and participate in various roles for client site visits field installation, checkout, and start-up Qualifications Bachelors of Science Degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university Mid Level requires 3+ years of experienceSenior Level requires 7+ years of experience
Prior power system design experience a plusExperience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systemsExperience in Electrical Transient Application Program (ETAP), SKM, EMTP-RV, PSCAD a plusAbility to effectively present and draw conclusions from large data setsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsAdvanced proficiency in Word and ExcelGood writing, presentation and communication skillsDirects and oversees routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintains quality standards of all assigned projectsAbility to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; ENERCON and client specific background checks; and an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies.
