We are seeking a Mid/Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Federal Services team based in one of the following locations: Kennesaw, GA, Fort Worth, TX, Dallas, TX, Naperville, IL, Kennewick, WA, or Aiken, SC.  If you have 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, please read more about this pivotal role and the exciting work our team is completing. 

 

Responsibilities

Our team supports our federal clients to solve a wide range of critical engineering problems. Our work covers both nuclear and non-nuclear facilities as well as facility-related infrastructure. Services range from full-scale design of new or replacement facilities to life cycle management to maximize their useful life and availability to assisting with the decommissioning of facilities that have reached the end of their useful life.

 

Responsibilities in this role include: 

Understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and is able to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplinesPrepares design studies, project scopes and engineering estimatesPrepares electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and can evaluate technical bids and select equipmentPrepares electrical calculations based on required design inputsDevises new approaches to technical problemsWilling to travel and participate in walkdowns, field installation, and start-upAbility to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style which is consistent with ENERCON’s Defining Excellence fundamentals  Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum 3 years of Electrical Engineering experience for mid level engineersMinimum 7 years of Electrical Engineering experience for senior level engineersExperience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systemsExcellent verbal communication skills; Comfortable and effective communicator with team, clients, management, etc., choosing the right mode of communication for the situation and relaying the right messageStrong technical writing skills and attention to detailStrong coordination and team building skills; demonstrated ability to work across disciplines, divisions, and teamsAbility to assess and understand team strengths and weaknesses and adjust level of support/oversight as appropriateProblem solving and general scientific evaluation skillsAbility to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sitesAbility to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies Must be a U.S. Citizen

 

Salary:

The salary range for this full-time position is $78,000-180,000  Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
