Our ENERCON Federal Services Group is seeking a Mid/Senior I&C Engineer. This role can be located in Kennesaw, GA (HQ),Overland Park, KS, Naperville, IL, Fort Worth, TX, Idaho Falls, ID, or Kennewick, WA. Responsibilities Perform a variety of complex digital I&C design engineering activitiesCoordinate systems design activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements,Prepare Engineering Change Packages (ECP) to replace/upgrade obsolete analog-based I&C systems with modern computer-based I&C systems and componentsPerform Digital Systems Design Development -- PLC, DCS, networked computer systems, and digital instrumentation & control systems functional requirementsPrepare and review detailed calculations, including scaling, uncertainty, and setpoint calculations for analog and digital controls applications,Prepare documentation for design input for drawing production including master diagrams and schematics,Perform design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimatesPerform review of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) digital platform hardware and software technical documentation for specified applications Provide estimates to Project Management to support budget and schedule developmentParticipate in project meetings, working interactively with colleagues and clients to develop strong relationshipsPlan and implement the timely execution of assigned engineering activitiesProficiency in the application and use of the regulatory requirements, industry codes, and standards that are unique to digital I&C systemsPerform site walkdowns as needed to identify design solutions Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degreeMust have at least 3 years of I&C engineering experienceMid-level will be considered with a minimum of 3 years of I&C engineering experienceSenior level will be considered at a minimum of 7 years of I&C engineering experienceKnowledge of digital hardware and software components commonly used in digital I&C system platformsExperience in the design, installation, and testing of large scale (complete systems) digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades at power plantsDirect involvement in the entire digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testingWorking knowledge of the application of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standardsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in a team environmentStrong analytical skills and problem identification/resolutionMust be able to access client sites to conduct walkdowns as neededMust be a US Citizen#LI-SH7
