Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Mid/Senior Level Database Developer to work for a large health insurance client of ours. This individual will focus on evolving the Stars Data Engine to a new Ecosystem that allows for expanding our data ingestion footprint while increasing data security, reducing data replication, and becoming a more real-time solution related to the data outputs. This position will manage and be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale data structures and Pipelines. This individual will need to apply Rapid Application Development and Lean techniques to direct work assignments and provide mentoring to junior staff to successfully direct the improvements to the Data Engine Framework to support the constituent needs of the various Medicare Business units. The individual will help manage the evolution to a self-organizing, cross functional team structure that leverages iterative Delivery Processes with a focus on continuous delivery of valuable software. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience  5+ years experience as a Database Developer  Strong experience with database design  Strong experience with SQL development and design  Strong C# experience  Experience with large scale data structures  Experience within a .NET framework  Experience with object-oriented programming  Source control repository GitHub or similar  Agile methodology experience Plusses:  Experience on migration projects: moving from one platform to another.  Experience w/ ETL tools such as SSIS, & SSRS  Web development experience a plus  Infragistics/3rd party controls  Jenkins/Team City/Octo deploy  Experience w/ cloud technologies around Azure/GCP (migrating from on-prem to the cloud)  Healthcare or health insurance (Medicare, Medicaid) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
