Mid System Administrator Place of Performance: On/Off Site, Ft Meade, MD, 7:00am - 4:00pm Clearance: DoD Secret Years of Experience: 3-7 Education/Certification Requirements: BS, Engineering, Management Information Systems of Related Technical Degree and CompTIA Security Plus Cert or equivalent. Specific Duties This position will provide the Spectrum System Administration services including but not limited to: + Provide support to the Windows Server 2016/2019, Oracle 19g, SQL Server 2017, and GOTS Application and Database. + Provide day-to-day system administration to keep the system operational, functioning as designed, and compliant with cybersecurity accreditation requirements. This also includes + All aspects of IT operation and maintenance for the software to include corrective actions that may be required to overcome issues that are caused by an operating system patch, COTS/GOTS patch, or code update. + Responsible for coordinating backups prior to performing an upgrade of any type and subsequent restoration prior to finding a corrective solution as directed. + Maintain assets and will work with DISA and other contractors to troubleshoot, identify and remediate these issues. + Responsible for coordinating backup prior to any operating system patch, COTS product patch, or other software update and subsequent restoration. + Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills + Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in system administration and support. + Demonstrated experience with upgrading systems, software migrations, and resolving help desk tickets. + Experience configuring servers. + Strong experience deploying in an Agile Environment.
