Role description:

Arcadis is actively seeking an experienced Midwest Water Reuse Lead to join our Resilience Water team in the United States.  This hybrid role can be based in any of our US locations.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the creation and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the scope and impact of water reuse projects nationwide. Your leadership will be essential in guiding teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to new and existing clients across the Resilience Water Global Business Area. You will play a key role in fostering client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sustainable water reuse practices to enhance the resilience of water systems across the country.

Role accountabilities:

As the Water Reuse Practice Leader, you will be the go-to expert on water reuse trends, benchmarks, economics, and legislative or regulatory matters. Your role will focus on market growth, talent development, and delivering high-quality solutions that distinguish our technical expertise from competitors. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing a comprehensive national strategy for water reuse with specific goals, objectives, and key performance indicators. Guiding the planning, design, and execution of water reuse projects, ensuring they uphold the highest quality standards. Seeking and cultivating new business opportunities in the water reuse sector by building relationships with potential clients and partners. Providing technical leadership and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and the latest water reuse advancements. Building strong client relationships to understand their needs and provide customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Mentoring and guiding a team of water reuse professionals, fostering growth, support, and development opportunities. Representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and in publications by sharing insights and contributing to the progression of water reuse practices. Staying informed about federal, state, and local regulations related to water reuse, ensuring all projects meet compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of relevant experience in water reuse.

Key Skills and Attributes:

Extensive knowledge of water reuse technologies, processes, regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape. Proven track record in in internal and external client relationship management. Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial approach in building a practice area. Track record of success in leadership roles. Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for business growth, and develop and implement effective business strategies. A passion for water supply resilience and sustainability. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively across different teams and departments. Willingness to travel as needed to support national projects and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (P.E.) License. Established as a thought leader in the water sector

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP,  401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement.  We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116,000 - $200,000.
