**MIG Welder| $20-$23/hr.** **Job Description** We currently have several clients looking to hire skilled structural MIG and TIG welders in the **Akron, Canton, Kent and Youngstown** areas. These positions are ideal for individuals urgently seeking new opportunities and offer a fast start. The positions over overtime and would be ideal for candidates who prefer it. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel ranging from 7 to 20 gauge thickness. + Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures. + Use hand and power tools to fit and fabricate products. + Lift 50-75 lbs. occasionally to place and adjust materials for welds. + Comfortably weld out of flat, vertical and overhead positions **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of MIG (GMAW) welding experience on aluminum, stainless steel, and structural steel. + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Ability to read tape measures accurately down to 16ths (8-question tape measure test). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with TIG welding (GTAW). + Experience with stick welding (SMAW). + Experience in job shop environments. **Shifts** 1st, 2nd and 3rd **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
