MIG/TIG Welder
**Job Title: Welding Fabricator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team in creating custom stands for vehicles for major automotive groups. This role involves both TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, as well as operating various fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate will have a experience within welding and fabrication and be able to work from blueprints to produce high-quality products. **Responsibilities** + Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel (2 inch to 16 gauge) with a 50/50 split on TIG/MIG. + Operate fabrication equipment including brake press, saw, and perform some assembly tasks. + Work from blueprints to accurately fabricate custom stands for vehicles. + Ensure all welding and fabrication tasks meet quality and safety standards. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding. + At least 1 year of experience in MIG and TIG welding and fabrication. + Experience working with stainless steel and sheet metal. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Strong fabrication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with brake press, punch press, and assembly. + Having worked in a job shop and built custom products is highly preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that has been recognized as one of the top places to work from 2019 to 2023. The shop is smaller, with only three people in the Welding/Fabrication department. The position is a first shift role, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
