Summary: We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our team. The welder will perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques during the assembly of metal assemblies to meet customer specifications and work order instructions.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.Ensure weld operations meet specifications, production work orders, and drawings.Conduct quality inspections using drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools.Work independently or as part of a team to meet objectives.Ensure safety while handling parts and operating equipment.Participate in new product introductions and suggest improvements.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace.Perform routine welding machine maintenance.Keep the workplace safe and obstacle-free.Essential Skills:
2+ years' experience in MIG/TIG welding.Experience with heavy steel and stainless steel welding.Proficiency in new build and repair welds.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with TIG, flux core, and stainless steel welding.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.Manual dexterity.Troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Adaptability to various changes in situations.Why Work Here? Work Environment: This position is in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy equipment and machinery. You will primarily stand for up to six hours per day, with some duties requiring short periods of sitting. You must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. using proper ergonomic techniques.
