The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to safety standards. **Shift and Pay:** · 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday · Pay: $20-$22/hr (Depending on experience) · Must be willing to work overtime when required. **Key Responsibilities:** · Weld and cut black carbon and galvanized steel. · Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics. · Operate hand tools, grinders, and basic shop machinery. · Ensure products are manufactured according to specifications. · Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 6S standards. · Adhere to all company safety requirements. **Qualifications:** · Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols. · Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/32". · Strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in lbs., ft., inch). · Experience with operating vehicles, mechanical devices, or equipment. · Ability to pass 3G/4G MIG welding tests. · Strong experience in Flux-core and MIG welding; TIG welding is a plus. · Minimum of 4 years of recent welding experience. · Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. · Must be able to lift 50 lbs without restrictions. · Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment (navigation, saving, printing). · Train and mentor new welders as part of job duties. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
