**Job Title: MIG Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. In this role, you will work with drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions to build various parts, components, or complete machines. You will be responsible for welding components, developing weld fixtures, and maintaining high-quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Work from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions to build a variety of parts, components, or complete machines. + Weld components, develop component weld fixtures, or build machines while maintaining required quality specifications. + Set up welding machines. + Perform MIG welding on steel. + Grind and finish welds. + Work on a variety of projects depending on the current needs. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 6 months of experience or formal schooling in MIG welding. + Experience in setting up welding machines. + Proficiency in grinding and polishing. + Experience in welding on steel. + Ability to read blueprints is a plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel fabrication. + Metal fabrication. + Welder assembly. + Positive attitude. + Willingness to learn. + Flexibility. **Why Work Here?** This is an extremely good company to work for, understanding family needs and willing to work with loyal employees. The company was founded by engineers and maintains a family-type atmosphere. The work environment is an industrial manufacturing setting, but very clean for a fab shop. It is friendly and procedure-driven, with a strong focus on safety and effective work. Employees work Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with flexible hours and the possibility of unlimited overtime.
