**Job Title: MIG Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled MIG/Fluxcore Welder to join our team where we manufacture large industrial scales for the trucking and aggregate industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding mild steel on our 1st or 2nd shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG and Fluxcore welding on mild steel
+ Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
+ Set up welding machines and select proper settings
+ Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
+ Grind and finish welds as necessary
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area
+ Follow safety protocols and guidelines
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in MIG and Fluxcore welding
+ Experience with GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Familiarity with welding structural steel and stainless steel
+ Prior experience or schooling in welding
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in metal fabrication
+ Ability to work with different welding techniques
+ Attention to detail and precision in welding
+ Strong problem-solving skills

**Work Environment**
This is a non-climate controlled metal fabrication shop, which is very clean and organized. Candidates must be comfortable working in an environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The available shifts are 1st shift (5AM-1:30PM, Mon-Fri) and 2nd shift (3PM-1:30AM, Mon-Thurs). There may be a requirement to stay late Monday through Thursday or switch to five 10-hour shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COLUMBUS, OH.
