The role involves pulse welding on carbon steel (hot rolled and cold rolled), stainless steel, and some aluminum. Most parts you will work on are over 50-100 pounds and are primarily structural. The position includes approximately 10% production work, with most parts being one-offs. You may need to run multiple passes at times and perform various types of welding, including vertical, horizontal, angle, and overhead welding. The role also requires the use of Miller & Lincoln welders, grinding, and occasional fabrication work such as running a shear. You must be flexible and willing to take on different tasks as needed.
