**Job Title: MIG Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metalworking and fabrication, with a strong focus on MIG welding and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate MIG welding tools + Perform MIG welding on 16 gauge sheet metal + Be flexible to perform grinding tasks + Read and understand specification sheets and work orders + Layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools + Operate and maintain handheld welding tools **Essential Skills** + 3+ years manufacturing experience in a high volume, fast paced production environment + Experience in metalworking and hollow metal fabrication + Proficient in reading blueprints + Dexterous with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of hand held welding tool operation and maintenance + Ability to layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position where you will be treated as a permanent employee from day one. The facility operates on two shifts: 1st Shift from 5am to 1:30pm and 2nd Shift from 2:30pm to 11pm.
