Job Description
The Welder Combination classification will follow standard welding procedures and techniques to optimize Flux Cored Arc, Stick, MIG, TIG, and plasma welding processes on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel materials. This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
ResponsibilitiesOptimize Flux Cored Arc, Stick, MIG, TIG, and plasma welding processes.Perform welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel materials.Use hand tools, including angle grinders.Pass MIG and TIG weld tests.Cut, trim, and bend metal objects to specified dimensions.Work on spinners, and with pipe welders and duplex welders.Handle pressure boiler welding.Read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools.Participate in department training programs.Ensure all work is performed safely.Adapt to assignment changes as needed to meet production requirements.Participate in daily '6S' activities.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with MIG, TIG, stick welding, and flux core welding.Ability to work with 316 and 430 stainless steel.Experience using hand tools, particularly angle grinders.Mechanical inclination.English comprehension: ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.Ability to handle light and average weight parts.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to listen and learn from instructions.Ability to work safely and independently or as part of a group.Additional Skills & QualificationsFlexibility with assignment changes to meet production needs.Ability to participate in '6S' daily activities.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
