Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for welding large metal doors, cutting tube steel, and painting. This role requires precision and expertise in MIG welding techniques. Contractors will be required to have or be able to receive a SECRET clearance.
ResponsibilitiesWeld large metal doors using MIG welding techniques.Cut tube steel to specified dimensions.Perform painting tasks as required.Fabricate and fit components as needed.Grind and prepare metal surfaces for welding.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding.Experience with cutting and grinding.Ability to pass a weld test.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.Good work ethic and ability to stay busy.Capability to pass a SECRET security clearance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in TIG welding.Fabrication skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with stainless steel.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position involves both indoor and outdoor work as needed. The ideal candidate must have a 'no job too small' attitude and be adaptable to various work conditions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
