**Job Title: MIG Welder** **Job Description** A Welder is responsible for tacking, welding, and assembling materials for industrial parts according to drawing specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to meet quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Safely operate in all areas. + Set up TIG, MIG, and Stick welding machines based on the job requirements. + Read drawings to determine specific welding requirements. + Layout and weld heavy metal by blueprint from start to finish. + Provide great attention to detail and focus on tasks. + Support team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. + Assemble items as instructed by the shop foreman. + Prepare products for shipment. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of experience in welding. + Ability to work safely and follow all rules. + Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with heavy metal welding from start to finish. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to support team members. + Experience in assembling items and preparing products for shipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to follow directions and comply with performance standards. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Flexible work schedule availability, including overtime and on-call assignments. + Ability to read and write for basic paperwork, such as timesheets and job-related reports. + Forklift operation skills. + Proficiency in using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality. + Knowledge and skills in CAD programming software. + Understanding of installation for various types of fabricated equipment and parts. + Proficiency in welding techniques and ability to perform basic welding tasks. **Why Work Here?** Production bonuses and a small family-owned business atmosphere with locations in Greensboro and Reidsville. Personal Protective Equipment, engineering controls, defined procedures, and specialized training are provided to reduce hazard exposure risks. The work schedule is Monday - Thursday from 6am - 4:30pm, with opportunities for additional hours on Fridays, typically a 4-8 hour shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Reidsville, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
