Candidate will have a strong background in welding and be detail oriented. + 1st shift - 4 day work week + Voluntary OT + Pay depends on experience + Please have resume and diploma/GED/Transcripts ready to provide + In person interview required **Responsibilities:** + **Welding Operations:** Perform welding tasks to assemble, repair, or modify metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications. + **Equipment Maintenance:** Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. + **Quality Control:** Inspect welds for quality, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications. This may involve using various testing methods like x-rays or ultrasonic tests. + **Safety Compliance:** Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing protective gear and handling materials safely. + **Material Preparation:** Cut, shape, and prepare metal pieces for welding, often using tools like grinders, saws, and cutting torches. + **Blueprint Interpretation:** Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements and procedures. + **Collaboration:** Work with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals. **Requirements:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. + Proficiency in using welding equipment and hand tools. + Strong attention to detail and precision. + Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Knowledge of safety standards and practices. + Certification in welding (preferred but not required).
