Are you a skilled Migration Engineer with a passion for Python and a knack for solving complex technical challenges? Ericsson is looking for a talented professional to join our Mobile Financial Services unit as a Migration Engineer. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in transforming and migrating data systems, ensuring seamless transitions and contributing to innovative solutions that drive our business forward.
What you will do
Analyze and assess existing systems to develop and execute comprehensive migration plans using Python, Javascript etcCollaborate with stakeholders, including developers, system architects, and product managers, to define migration goals and requirements.Design and implement robust migration solutions that minimize disruption and align with organizational objectives.Develop scripts and tools in Python to automate and streamline migration processes.Ensure that all migrated systems meet performance, security, and compliance standards.Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues, providing technical expertise and support throughout the process.Document migration processes, architectural decisions, and configurations for future reference
The skills you bring
Proven experience (3+ years) in a migration engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Python.Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries and frameworks commonly used in data migration and processing.Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and experience in data transformation and migration.Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical challenges.Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
