UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital is hiring Milieu Therapists! In this role, you will work with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team at a nationally recognized hospital, providing therapeutic actives to a diverse patient population experiencing a various mental health diagnoses.

The schedule for this role will require rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. The starting rate for Milieu Therapist I is $18.54. Compensation will commensurate based on experience.

 

 Responsibilities:

Maintain competency requirements. Attend annual in-service training. Lead or assist in therapeutic groups.  Coordinate patient activities. Help patients with daily activities and appointments.  Document promptly and as per policies.  Handle crisis’s and ensure a safe environment.  Participate in meetings and communicate with staff.
