Basic Job Functions:
The Cold Saw Recorder will ensure that our products are tracked and our orders for those products are filled to customer specifications. The Cold Saw Recorder will work with the Reheat operator to coordinate the product rolling with minimum over rolls and communicate with inventory to ensure product flow to the internal and external customer. The Cold Saw Recorder will operate in a demanding, fast pace production area and will maintain the “Take-in” portion of the inspection bed and assist with repairs to all equipment in the finishing bay as needed (welding, torch cutting and use of assorted hand tools). In addition, the operator will be required to assist in other job functions on the crew as needed. The Cold Saw Recorder will work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:Experience with product tracking, cut sheets, and product orders.
Documented/certified torch training
