**CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for making short run, prototype parts, primarily in 1-5 piece runs. You will handle all aspects of the machining process, including programming at the controller using G&M codes, machining, and quality checking. You will work with Horizontal Mills, Fanuc controlled, Haas, or Mori-Seiki machines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC mills with precision.
+ Perform programming, setup, and troubleshooting using Fanuc controls.
+ Write, edit, and optimize G&M code for efficient machining processes.
+ Maintain high-quality standards by inspecting parts using precise measurement tools.
+ Collaborate with the engineering team to develop prototype and low-volume run parts.
+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
**Requirements**
+ Experience as a CNC Machinist.
+ Proficiency in mill setups, Fanuc controls, and G&M code.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
