Job DescriptionOperate Yamazaki CNC Machines and Scienci CNC Mills. Set up, process, and perform geometric evaluation of the finished product. Conduct evaluation, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks, including CNC uploading, proofing/evaluating, minor editing, and communicating any issues, concerns, or improvements with the programming department. Perform monitoring and preventative maintenance of the mills for safe, accurate, and efficient utilization. Handle first run and production run of products.
ResponsibilitiesPerform all assigned machine shop operations.Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, following prescribed safety procedures.Regularly perform milling, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding tasks.Inspect machined products and document results.Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.Facilitate cross-shift and interdepartmental communications.Essential SkillsProficiency with CNC, milling, blueprint reading, machining, and milling processes.Experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining the processing of aerospace components on CNC Mills.Skilled in the use of calipers, troubleshooting, and machine code.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production and aerospace environments.Why Work Here?Enjoy an excellent benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with employer matching contribution, among many other perks!
Work EnvironmentWork in a clean, organized machine shop with a family-oriented environment that emphasizes communication and leaving anger at the door. Employees are frequently exposed to mist or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
