Willing to train anyone who's good with the work, schedule and screenings!* **Job Description** We are actively hiring for a Mill Trainee at our Spring Grove location. This role primarily involves general production duties, such as supplying lines with raw materials, unloading finished materials, using forklifts and hand trucks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. **Responsibilities** + Respect and enforce safety, quality, and environmental policies. + Learn all bottom jobs within a department. + Bring raw materials to the machine, including cores, skids, and blocks. + Move products around the mill using hand trucks and clamp trucks. + Assist operators with making splices and threading winders. + Learn to perform jobs safely and efficiently. + Monitor product quality at every operation. + Assist with moving, weighing, taping, and labeling products. + Perform cleanup duties for machine breaks or standard daily cleanups. + Assist with threading of machines. + Perform simple mechanical tasks, including rope installation and lubrication duties. + Assist with rewinding, sheeting, and wrapping operations. + Clean up broke generated by machines and recycle back into the process. + Do what is necessary to keep operations running safely and efficiently. **Essential Skills** + High School diploma or GED required. + 1-5 years of related experience in production, preferably in the manufacturing industry. + Ability to interpret a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch. + General mechanical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with training. + Experience using a computer system to assist with the manufacturing process. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can grow your skills and advance your career. The campus is smoke-free. The schedule includes working in shifts of 7 AM-3 PM, 3 PM-11 PM, and 11 PM-7 AM, with an expectation of working 21 consecutive days initially. On-call schedules and mandatory overtime may also be required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $50357.00 - $50357.00/yr.
