Local Millwright

Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc, known as a leading one stop shop provider for complex industrial services is seeking Millwrights for our Evonik Pasadena location

Responsibilities:

Safety is a priority; employee must understand construction risks and bring them to the attention of their supervisorMaintenance and repair of all machinery, equipment and facilities.Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.Trouble shooting hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics.Preventative Maintenance.Fabrication, repairs, welding, and installation on all equipment.Maintain a clean and organized facility on a daily basis.Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED and completion or craft apprenticeshipQuality minded, positive team player, safety conscious and production focused.Have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.Possess a working knowledge of machine alignment.Must be able to assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools.NCCER certification is a plus.Ability to work at heights greater than six feet off of the groundKnowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
