**Multi Craft Journeyman/Millwright** **Job Description** A Multi Craft Journeyman (welder/fitter/mechanic) is a highly skilled tradesperson proficient in multiple disciplines within the skilled trades. This role involves a diverse set of skills and expertise, enabling the specialist to perform various tasks across different crafts. **Responsibilities** + Focus on safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. + Read and understand drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs. + Position, align, and secure parts & assemblies using various measuring tools. + Perform welding using GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes. + Proficient in butt & socket weld for carbon steel & stainless steel pipe/tube. + Experience with threaded carbon steel & stainless steel pipe, PVC/CPVC, and copper solder. + Familiar with Pro & Mega Press Mechanical Piping. + Operate hand and power tools such as magnetic drills, grinders, cutting torches, and automated welding tractors. + Inspect equipment prior to use to maintain quality & functionality; report any malfunctions. + Collaborate with others to execute work professionally. + Inspect own work for compliance with contract plans and specifications; take corrective action if needed. + Travel to multiple locations in the field, including Delaware, New Jersey, PA, and Maryland. + Willing to work overtime, alternative shifts, and be available on an emergency basis. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience in the fabrication/welding industry. + Experience in GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes, with the ability to qualify to D1.1 structural command and weld pipe in 6-G position per AWS using GTAW in carbon and stainless steel. + Proficient in welding symbols, work packages diagrams, blueprints, and other printed instructional material. + Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions. + Effective communication skills with management/supervision. + Ability to cut material using a cutting torch, plasma torch, Port-a-band saw, and other related tools. + Able to work in a team environment and self-motivated. + OSHA/10 safety training required (provided); having an up-to-date OSHA/10 or greater is a plus. + Valid driver’s license and own transportation for travel within the tri-state area. + Ability to pass a , motor vehicle check, drug screening, and respirator fitness test. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.48 - $37.10 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Philadelphia,PA. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Feb 6, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
