**Job Title: Red Seal Millwright** **Job Description** The Red Seal Millwright will be responsible for tasks in the PVC pipe manufacturing facility in Abbotsford. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. + Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. + Install, assemble, test, and maintain equipment. + Use hand and power tools, scissor/boom lifts, and lift trucks. + Test electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety. + Work with equipment rated up to 600V. + Follow the preventive maintenance schedule and help improve it. + Perform pre-flight checks on production lines prior to startup as per the schedule. + Follow safety procedures. + Update preventive maintenance records in CMMS (eMaint). **Essential Skills** + Red Seal certification. + 2-5+ years of industrial experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. + 2-5+ years of repair and maintenance experience in a heavy industrial facility. + Ability to work a rotating shift and 12-hour shifts. + Ability to read and interpret layout drawings and blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding and machining skills are an asset. + Experience in extrusion manufacturing is preferred. + Self-motivated with pride in work. + Team player and personable. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes. **Why Work Here?** We offer an engaging work environment with many perks and benefits. Typical duties include team meetings and handovers, urgent repairs, preventive maintenance, and documentation. You will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Our culture is team-oriented with a buddy system, and we are building a new team with some long-tenured members. The dress code includes coveralls, PPE, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work boots. The facility is located at 3065 Sumas Mountain Rd, Abbotsford, BC V3G 2L4.
