**Industrial Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Yarrow location. The successful candidate will handle problems related to the production machinery and systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. **Responsibilities** + Follow PM Schedule + Log and track all maintenance requests + Complete repairs or projects + Inspect the plant + Work closely with the Production Supervisors to ensure minimal downtime for repairs + Clean up after job completion + Maintain maintenance shop daily + Perform daily checks + Maintain PLCs and polyurethane injection molding machines + Replace existing electrical devices + Read engineering drawings and blueprints + Prepare reports + Weld and fabricate + Dismantle, repair, maintain, modify, build, install, align, and move production machinery and systems + Source and obtain parts + Fabricate parts + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and some electrical equipment + Use Boom lift + Troubleshoot/repair/maintain dust collection system + Occasionally work on the roof **Essential Skills** + Repair + Preventative maintenance + Troubleshooting + Installation + Hand tool proficiency + Tape measure usage + Power tool operation + Machine operation + Inspection + Polyurethane + Preventive maintenance software + Quality control + Maintenance management + Maintenance electrical + Maintenance mechanics + Maintenance production + Maintenance parts + Maintenance documentation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Red Seal certification + 2 - 5 years of Industrial Plant Production Line Maintenance experience + Experience in project work and low voltage, PLC troubleshooting + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint + Availability to work afternoon shifts and overtime if required + Forklift, Boom lift, scissor lift certifications + CNC machine experience + CMMS system experience + Experience being part of a safety committee or willingness to join **Why Work Here?** We are a growing company with ample opportunities for advancement. We value our employees and provide a workplace where you can thrive. **Work Environment** You will be working in a custom wood/metal manufacturing facility alongside machine operators and other maintenance personnel. The facility includes lathes, mills, and welding stations. Expect to handle tasks such as welding, working outdoors on the dust collection system, and using the Boom lift up to 50 feet high. The environment includes both older steel machines and newer PLC and CNC machines. Our facility can be loud, so ear protection is provided. Dress code includes long pants, long sleeve shirts, and safety gear, all provided by the company.
