Position Title: Hourly Millwright Mechanic
Pay Rate: ($35.99/hr to start. Skill based progression up to $46.59)
Start Date: February 3rd, 2024
Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (1 year working weekdays, four 10hr shifts, may be required to cover rotating shifts and weekends as needed. After one year you may be required to move to the DuPont Schedule with rotating 12-hour shifts- 14 days on and 14 days off per month. Includes 7 consecutive days off.)

The Job You Will Perform:
The Maintenance Team Member in Optimization will support the manufacturing teams by providing quality maintenance duties to maximize paper machine availability and minimize off-quality product. These duties include but are not restricted to,
Performs maintenance duties to troubleshoot and repair defective equipment in a timely manner. Responds to assigned work orders and inputs to the Computerized Maintenance Management System the work performed on the equipment specified in the work order. Performs predictive and preventative maintenance duties and generates work requests in SAP to repair defective equipment. Communicates closely with the team leader and other team members on the status of work progress. Assists in the education of other team members to produce a multi-functional maintenance department. Assists the manufacturing teams as necessary in their tasks such as felt changes and process troubleshooting. Works closely with all team members to ensure that work is done in a safe manner. Works as part of a team which is responsible for the condition of all process and non-process equipment. Works with process and project engineers to install new equipment and modify existing equipment. Works as part of a Process Ownership System, including BOMs and PMs. Coaches safety in others and leads by example. Understands and meets internal and external customer requirements. Develops, maintains, and uses reliable methods for all processes and their improvements. Works with the AMM to ensure PMs are up to date. Assists other team members in the mill as necessary to minimize downtime and maintain quality. Maintains and develops team relationships. Develops and stays current in cross-functional maintenance skills. Fullfill area specific 5S expectations(5 Minute 5S Checklists Replenishment of tools and supplies, 5S Audits,etc) Use precision equipment tools such as: Dial indicators, calipers, mic’s, and precision laser equipment to perform tasks to leave equipment in precision state.
The Skills You Will Bring:
High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer skills. Able to function in a team environment. Proven record of safe work practices. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to be part of a multi-functional/multi-skill maintenance organization with a willingness to flow to work as required by changing mill conditions and priorities. Minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience in any one of the following maintenance skill areas: millwright, pipefitting, weldking, hydraulics. Or One (1) year vocational / technical education in industrial maintenance field.
