Industrial Maintenance Technician

Join our skilled maintenance team and ensure our machines and equipment run smoothly and safely in a fast-paced environment!

 

Salary: NEW & improved wage: starting at $33.74/hour with growth potential
Schedule: 8pm-8am on a 48/36-hour weekly rotating schedule (note training will be on day shift)

Duties/Responsibilities:

Handle all machine maintenance, including mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical

Perform preventive maintenance inspections

Ensure effective performance of all machines including disassembly, cleaning, reassembling, and lubricating moving parts

Record and report damaged or broken parts

Identify causes of machine breakdowns and complete repairs safely and efficiently

Accurately complete necessary reports including work orders and machine logs

Assist in machine and equipment improvement projects

 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills

Preventive maintenance and mechanical repair skills

Electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting 

Ability to work independently and with others

Good communication skills

Organized with attention to detail

 

 

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of previous mechanical experience required, including a combination of industrial maintenance, repair, machining, welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics

A minimum of 2 years of previous mechanical experience required, including prior experience with PLC

Vocational or community college coursework in related fields preferred

Must have own tools/toolbox

 

 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
