We are seeking several EXPERIENCED Millwright candidates in the Carthage area.

The Millwright position requires knowledge of and hands-on-experience of troubleshooting and maintenance. The position requires experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, electrical applications and metal fabrication. ...
Responsibilities:
Must work in full compliance with all approved safety regulations
Follow required safety procedures for example lockout/tagout, fall protection, hot work permit, etc.
Works from blueprints, diagrams, charts, sketches, and verbal instructions to plan, install, assemble, fabricate, lubricate, test, adjust, inspect, repairs and maintain plant equipment, machinery and structures
Ability to use machinery or equipment, such as Telehandlers and Manlifts, to move or access mechanical parts
Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures
Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use
Install equipment such as shafting, pulleys, and conveyors
Align and mount equipment within 0.001" using specialized tolls
Shim and torque as required for alignment
Responsible for specific pieces of equipment under preventive maintenance program
Performs cutting, welding, and brazing as necessary
Makes a written report on Maintenance Work Sheet at the end of each shift
Keeps working area in a clean, safe and orderly condition and performs all work in accordance with plant and departmental rules

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
Previous sawmill experience preferred

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
3 years previous maintenance experience
Previous sawmill experience (preferred), industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required
Personal maintenance tools are required

Must be safety conscious at all times
Must practice safe work procedures and comply with applicable safety rules and regulations in a heavy industrial environment
Ability to cooperate with and coordinate duties with other members of the crew. Should be able to perform work with minimum supervision
Must be competent in reading blueprints and schematics
Ability to read and use precision instruments to measure
Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic components
Ability to cut and weld
