Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. Description

Under close supervision, assists in the planning and performing of Mining Engineering duties related to development and production at assigned underground site.

 

Assists in the development of mining plans to support short and/or long range planning and production goalsMonitors mining methods and equipment, with a view to improving performanceAssists in developing and managing mine ventilationAssists in identifying courses of action to improve safety, operational efficiencies, control production costs and protect the environmentParticipates in Engineering feasibility studies to define proper mining methods, equipment selection, mine site facilities, and manpower and production requirementsPerform other duties as requiredQualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering with no experience requiredKnowledge of the principles and practices of Mining EngineeringAble to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusionsAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsSkilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingKnowledge, or developing knowledge of Underground Mining methods

What We Offer You 

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $76,000-$104,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. What We Require
