HOW A MISO PLANNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Coordinates with project leadership to develop behavioral influence strategies in support of a MISO effort.
Synchronizes MISO with component tactical operations to achieve overarching operational and strategic impact in accordance with EXORDS and CONOPs.
Coordinates guidance, authorities, objectives, priorities, mission area analysis, assessment data and program capabilities to develop CONOPs for program activities.
Liaises with other organizations to coordinate and prioritize authorities, permissions, and support to current and future operations.
Provides reports summarizing team efforts and strategies.
Serves as subject matter expert on program capabilities, authorities, applications, best practices, and procedures to leaders, staff, components, other DoD organizations, subordinate commands, allied and partner nations, and interagency entities for coordination, synchronization, and de-confliction of efforts.
Some travel may be required for inter-agency coordination.
Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; significant specialized experience may be substituted in lieu.
Experience: 8+ years of related experience, including experience in the development of MISO plans and programs at the brigade level or higher.
Security clearance level: Top Secret/SCI required
Skills and abilities: Completion of PSYOP qualification, Joint IO Planning, or IO Integration courses required
