Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADDS) Administrator

Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADDS) Administrator to assist in directing and managing the program's executive support group. The candidate must reference their ability and experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team. The MADDS Administrator plays an essential role in the operational integrity and security of the DODIN by managing the Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADDS). This position is responsible for continuously monitoring, updating, and maintaining the MADDS, ensuring real-time and predictive assessments of operational impacts due to disruptions on the DODIN and its supporting infrastructure. Roles and Responsibilities: + Conduct real-time and predictive assessments of operational impacts due to disruptions (natural or man-made) on the DoDIN and its supporting commercial infrastructure. + Input critical and non-critical circuits for the circuit transport systems, trunks, and links to the MADSS database. + Attend all MADSS-related technical working groups via teleconference. + Maintain Mission Terrain in Cyberspace within MADSS, a mix of hardware and software, and physical/logical locations for circuits and systems. + Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the MADSS, ensuring its accuracy and reliability for operational support and decision-making. + Analyze MADSS data to identify vulnerabilities, predict potential disruption impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies. Prepare and present detailed reports to leadership and stakeholders. + Utilize MADSS to conduct real-time and predictive assessments on operational impacts, providing critical support for mission assurance and decision-making processes. + Ensure the MADSS database is current with accurate and comprehensive data on Pentagon critical and non-critical circuits, circuit transport systems, and other relevant infrastructure elements. + Work closely with technical teams, including node site coordinators and COMSEC managers, to gather and integrate data into the MADSS. Attend Technical Working Groups (TWGs) and coordinate with DISA and other relevant agencies. + Develop and maintain documentation for MADSS operational procedures. Provide training and support to system users and stakeholders to ensure effective utilization. + Ensure all activities related to the MADSS comply with DoD security policies and regulations. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within the system. Qualifications/Experience: + Active TS/SCI clearance + Experience in system administration, specifically with mission assurance or decision support systems. + Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting enterprise software applications, databases, and operating systems. + Experience with network security principles, encryption standards, and access control mechanisms. + Experience in transport network design, implementation, and maintenance, with a strong telecommunications system and technology background. + Experience with DODIN operations and DoD standards. Education/Certifications: + Security + (required) + Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). + CCNP (preferred).
