The F-35 Mission Planning Test & Evaluation Administrator's primary role will be to support flight test activities at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the F-35B and F-35C aircraft as part of the Air Vehicle Mission Planning Environment (MPE) team. This team is responsible for the F-35 mission planning systems and processes to include, but not limited to:
- Deploying mission plans for communications/datalinks, sensor configurations and weapon system planning
- Coordinating with Mission Systems and Weapon Integration teams and pilots to deploy and evaluate new capabilities
- Responsible for both ground and airborne COMSEC configurations
- Coordinating with Test Operations, Flight Operations, and Aircraft Maintenance teams
- MPE and MVDL hardware and network deployment and administration
- MPE and MVDL software installation of the latest developmental releases, maintaining user accounts, and supporting system audits
- Supporting MPE, MVDL and other MS related support equipment related maintenance and troubleshooting efforts
This position will require maintaining a DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+).
A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience

Basic Qualifications:
Flight Test Experience or experience of any combination in Mission Planning/Aircraft Avionics Technician/Network Administration
DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include JSF ALIS and/or Mission Planning Equipment (MPE) hardware and software.
Experience with F-35 offboard mission planning.
Knowledge of F-35 aircraft systems architecture.
Experience handling COMSEC material.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
