**Job Title: Mitigation Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mitigation Technician to join our team. This role involves handling urgent calls related to mitigation and restoration projects. You will assess damages, halt further damage, and begin immediate mitigation efforts. This might include lifting carpets, cutting drywall to prevent mold, moving furniture, and setting up drying equipment. Candidates with prior experience as a mitigation or contents technician, or those with IICRC certifications, are encouraged to apply. **Responsibilities** + Handle tasks related to water and fire mitigation + Complete water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes + Use moisture meters and other equipment + Perform demolition tasks such as cutting drywall, removing fixtures, belongings, furniture, and cabinetry + Ensure site safety and preparation + Maintain strong attention to detail **Essential Skills** + Experience in restoration and water mitigation + Possession of IICRC certifications if no prior experience + Demolition and construction skills + Proficiency with hand tools + Maintenance skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift 60 lbs + Capability to work in various environments including indoors, outdoors, in inclement weather, smoke, or other hazards of a demolition or remodeling environment + Strong reliability and work ethic **Why Work Here?** We value our employees and strive to create a supportive work environment that promotes work-life balance and professional growth. You will respond to emergencies, which may require working nights and weekends.
