Job Title: Mixer Operator

Job Description

The Mixer Operator is responsible for making batches of material in accordance with customer specifications. This role involves weighing materials, cleaning the mixing area, and troubleshooting any mixing problems. Additionally, the Mixer Operator is responsible for various tasks as assigned by the Manager or Group Leader.

We offer a pay rate increase of $4/hr from B-level to A-level, production bonuses up to 30%, and growth opportunities with corresponding pay increases. Employees benefit from a comprehensive 16 week training program, forklift certification, and a $2 shift differential. There are opportunities for overtime, and we provide a supportive work environment with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Work Environment

The work environment is a chemical plant with 98% automotive material production. It features a climate-controlled environment. Employees will be exposed to manufacturing operations such as moving equipment, noise, fumes, vibrations, and dust. Shifts are 1st shift: 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday, and 2nd shift: 3:30pm – 2:00am, Monday – Friday. There is potential for mandatory weekend work and overtime based on business needs. PPE such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, respirators, gloves, and earbuds are provided.

NOTE: At this time, we are looking for candidates who are able to work 1st shift for 8 weeks before transitioning to 2nd shift for the remainder of their assignment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $23.25
