**Job Title: Machine Operator - $18 to $20/hr., in St. Paul, MN** **Job Description** + As an Operator, you will work in three different areas: Powder Room, Liquid Room/Oil, and Paint Room. You will start in one specific area and must be open to rotating through all areas as needed. + In the Powder Room, you will produce powder that acts as a corrosion prohibitor while maintaining a safe work environment. You will clean machinery, operate machines for powder blending, mix dry powders, transfer chemicals, and maintain records. You will need to lift 50 lb bags consistently, shovel powder into bins, and use sitdown and standup forklifts to move materials. This role is labor-intensive. + In the Paint Room, you will handle detailed work requiring precise measurements and proper mixtures. You will lift and dump 50 lb bags, climb step ladders, and monitor machines. You will use batch sheets for correct product measurements and perform inspections. Forklift operation for material handling is also required. This role is labor-intensive and requires PPE. **Hard Skills** + machine operation + blending + measurements + forklift operation + assembly **Work Environment** Very blue-collar work environment. Must show up on time, complete tasks without drama, and clock in and out. The environment can get very hot (especially in the summer, over 100 degrees) and has various smells (chemical, powder, etc.), requiring no sensitivity to odors. Uniforms and PPE, including respirators, masks, and gloves, will be provided.
