**Job Description:** ITW ShineMark (formerly Foils & Thermal Films) is a global leader in metallized foils, holographics, laminations and thermal transfer ribbon technology. The business operates around the world, servicing customers in the Folding Carton, Prime Label, Lottery & TTR markets. ShineMark manufactures in the US (2 sites Newburyport, Massachusetts and Bloomfield, Connecticut), Canada, the UK & Korea, employing ~300 people in total. **Summary:** The primary goal of the Mixing Cell Operator is to maintain product quality and machinery efficiency during standard operation. The operator is also responsible for supporting any efforts associated with ensuring that the mixing machinery is operational and properly maintained. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:** + Read schedule to determine timing for solutions needed at coating machines. + Use ERP system to determine quantity needed for production. + Print Work Orders and drum labels. + Assure that there is sufficient inventory for production. + Assemble mixes. + Run required QC tests and enter data in QC database. + Adjust solids and combine drums (solutions) as needed. + Deliver solutions to the coating machines. + Backflush work orders in ERP system. + Disposition of hazardous waste. + Move incoming raw materials to storage location and move drums from storage to dispensing location. + Perform Cycle Counts. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow written SOPs and PL instructions. **Education and Experience:** The candidate is required to have the following: + High School diploma or equivalent + Work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment similar to the core competencies of ITW ShineMark. (Custom laminating, coating, metallizing, and converting) + Good mathematic skills and ability to learn and understand converting machinery functions and requirements. + Possess good judgment and decision-making skills. + Be well organized and possess good verbal and written communications skills. + Interpret, understand, and adhere to customer requirements. + Able to adapt to a challenging and demanding work environment. + Flexibility and willingness to work in other cells within ITW ShineMark as assigned **Physical Demands:** + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk, around the machines to replenish coating and perform visual inspections of the product, additionally, sit as needed, use hands to finger dexterity, handle, and/or feel. + Additionally, reach with hands and arms.
