**Job Title: Mixing Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Mixing Technician to oversee and manage inventory in the mixing area, ensuring compliance with formulations for PVC foam board production, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and quality control. **Responsibilities** + Oversee and manage inventory in the mixing area, including raw materials and auxiliaries. + Ensure compliance with and proper implementation of formulations for the production of PVC foam boards. + Optimize processes within the mixing area to enhance efficiency and ensure quality control. + Mix new test formulations according to the guidelines from the parent company. + Conduct and document tests, analyze results, and create reports to present to the parent company. + Conduct quality control on incoming raw materials for PVC foam boards. + Ensure incoming materials meet specifications and quality standards. + Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies. + Proactively coordinate with other departments and the parent company on matters related to material development and quality control. **Essential Skills** + Experience with mixing systems, ideally in the PVC foam board sector. + Knowledge in formulation management and material testing. + Strong communication skills. + Structured and solution-oriented working style. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Completed training or studies in chemistry, plastics engineering, or a comparable technical field. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your expertise in material development and quality control will be valued and make a significant impact. The role offers a competitive salary and a professional setting that fosters learning and growth. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
